Some projects require a more distinctive approach, and so it was for the Kate Bush book How to be Invisible. Typeset script typefaces did not give the handmade feel the author wanted, so I was asked to handwrite the page openers which are scattered throughout the book. The writing style is based on chancery cursive calligraphy from the 16th century, but with some eccentric additions including ink blots.
