Lyra is an ethical, non-profit discussion website led by cognitive scientist Dr Fintan Nagle. The aim is to promote civil discourse using a design which does not cause addictive behaviour, and which makes harassment and bullying difficult. Lyra is advertising-free and does not sell or buy user data.
Special attention has been given to designing a neutral interface which does not bombard the user with constant notifications and other distractions.
